Cheese
Rare, but serious if it happens
Fresh goat cheese made from pasteurised milk is safe. Soft goat cheese with a white rind (chèvre type) should only be eaten cooked until piping hot, even if pasteurised. Avoid raw-milk versions, common in artisanal goat cheese.
You can eat this again while breastfeeding: the pregnancy-specific risks (listeria, toxoplasmosis, salmonella) no longer apply after birth. Keep normal food hygiene.
